Hello and welcome to Peterborough Boat Hire. We are here to look after all of your river leisure activity needs. Come explore the River Nene like never before. Take out your family in one of our self drive absolutely silent electric-boats available for hire! Also, providing paddle boards, kayaks and or Canadian canoes for hire. We are running lessons for anyone that has either not paddled before or looking to improve their skills and to ensure you are safe out on the water, for all future paddles while paddle boarding, kayaking or canoeing.
We offer great paddle to the pub tours for a well deserved delicious meal and also if you are looking for something a bit more adventurous we recommend our multi-day expeditions!​

Things to do
The River Nene that runs through the centre of the historical Cathedral City of Peterborough is both picturesque and a joy to navigate with over 6 miles of uninterrupted and calm river voyaging. Which is full of magnificent and diverse wild habitats including kingfishers, herons, otters, swans, grass snakes and many varieties of fish including eels, pike and carp. So keep your eyes peeled and let us know if you spot anything while you are on the water, we are always keen to know!

Follow the riverside walk, we are 50 metres past the Key Theatre and the Chalkboard Cafe (when the river is on your right).

Parking
There are many pay and display carparks scattered all around area within a 5 min walk. Closest is the Carpark opposite to the Key Theatre. There is free car parking at the end of the road called Potters Way, Peterborough, PE1 5AX. Located on the other side of the A1139 (dual-carriage way), park there at your own risk. No wardens or cameras watch this car park.
